Researchers have studied various aspects of businesses including business model definitions, taxonomies, industry-specific business models, reference models and meta-models or ontologies. Few authors have focused on business model typologies. This study aims to examine different business models and typologies and introduce a new typology in small and medium sized e-businesses (e-SMEs) in Iran. In the first place, we review the literature in order to present a new typology of e-business model based on the strategic reference points. For the purpose of this research, 400 small and medium Iranian e-businesses participated in the study. Research data are analyzed using SPSS 16 and LISREL 8.5. Results show that strategic reference points of focus and control are effective factors in selecting e-business models.

By rapid formation and growth of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), new concepts such as information society, digital economy, electronic readiness, and digital gap have been added to the word banks and have attracted the attention of researchers, experts, and decision-makers. The concept of “digital gap” has been used for around one decade to address social, economic, and demographical differences in access and use of ICT. Thus, in recent years, great efforts have been made for developing models of electronic readiness and digital gap each of which following their own specific purposes. Corresponding measures for evaluating are still rather inaccurate. In this study, various models are investigated with respect to their methodologies and the weaknesses and strengths of each are identifies. The compound indices which combine a number of indices and constitute a single index are also discussed

Entrepreneurial learning is a continuous process of acquiring knowledge and skills in order to start and manage businesses. Based on formality or the extent to which there are predetermined guidelines, learning is categorized into formal and informal learning. According to the literature, only 20-30 percent of what people learn is through formal and structured processes and the rest is through informal processes of learning. Since entrepreneurial learning plays an important role in the success of entrepreneurs, it is so important to explore factors which influence the informal learning of entrepreneurs. In this research, 12 habitual entrepreneurs that work in ICT industry were interviewed. The tree stage analysis indicates that three factors: entrepreneurial characteristics, business futures, and business environment, influence the informal learning of entrepreneurs.

The study uses the involvement construct to categorize the products and assesses the general reaction of consumers to CRM campaigns in low-CRM-awareness situation. This study utilizes a classical experimental design with 202 respondents and analyzes the results using repeated-measures ANOVA and paired t-tests. The results show that brand familiarity and its interaction with product type are influential on consumer responses. The study demonstrates the favorable reaction of consumers to cause-related ads, even in an atmosphere that familiarity with the practice of CRM is low. Finally, the paper closes with implications of findings along with a justification using relevant theories.

Designing a model for integrating management systems
text

per
The purpose of this article is to design a model for integrating management systems in organizations. The most significant integrating models in the existing literature were reviewed, strength and weaknesses of these models were compared and finally a model was adopted. This
model incorporates most of the strengths of former models in the literature. The “Integrated Management System” model, proposed in this study, is based on common features of three main management systems: quality management system ISO 9001, environmental management system ISO 14001, and occupational health and safety management system OHSAS 18001. The contribution of the model proposed in this paper is that it combines all the clauses and sub-clauses of the standards mentioned above. This model also develops a new integrated management system.
