This study seeks to explore the relationships between perceived organizational support (POS), dimensions of organizational commitment (affective, normative, and continuance), and organizational performance. A sample of 65 branches of Mellat bank was selected and 789 branch employees completed the research questionnaire. The questionnaire included perceived organizational support scale (Eisenberger, Huntington, Hutchison, and Sowa, 1986) and affective, continuance, and normative commitment scales (Mayer and Allen, 1997). Organizational performance was measured using hard data on operational performance criteria. The results showed that POS is positively and significantly correlated with affective and normative commitment. On the other hand, no significant relationships were found between POS and continuance commitment and also organizational performance. This study provides support for the importance of supporting employees in order to improve their affective and normative commitment to the organization. Moreover, the results hold practical implications for managerial interventions focused on promoting commitment to the organization

The objective of this study is to examine the relationship between corporate governance attributes (ownership concentration, institutional ownership, CEO dominance, duality, board size, board independence, debt reliance and CEO tenure) and the information content of earnings in the presence of earnings management in Tehran Stock Exchange listed corporations during 1380-1386. Hypotheses were tested utilizing Linear Multi Regression by Pooled Generalized Least Squares(PGLS)model. Results show that the relationship between institutional ownership and board independence with the information content of earnings is stronger in corporations with high incentive to manage earnings. Also, in shareholders’ opinion, other corporate governance attributes(ownership concentration, CEO dominance, duality, board size, debt reliance and CEO tenure) have no effect on improving the information content of earnings neither in the presence of high incentive to manage earnings nor in the presence of low incentive to manage earnings. Therefore, with regard to the results of research on corporate governance, in order to protect the rights of minority shareholders, increase earnings reliability and support the stock market expansion, approval of corporate governance act should be high priority for Securities and Exchange High Council.

Career Orientations or career choices, can be affected by internal and external factors. External factors are the environmental conditions the reward and the final achievements of selecting a career choice are dependent on. Internal factors refer to the needs, beliefs and competencies of an individual that can be related to his/her job. The result of exploratory factor analysis of Schein's career anchor inventory supported the 8 factor structure of career anchors with one change. Then, the internal antecedents of managerial and technical orientations of 200 Iranian programmers were identified using multiple regression analysis. In addition, perception of people about the compensation system as an external factor has been found to affect the above relationships, as a moderating factor. The results revealed significant relationships between technical anchor and technical orientation, challenge, general management, entrepreneurship and job security anchors and managerial orientation.

Designing a model of Good Governance Based on Open Systems Theory

Lack of economic prosperity, poverty, unaccountability, corruption, and the marginalization of law are the main challenges faced by developing countries. Studies on development as well as the strategies of world organizations indicate that good governance is the main factor contributing to country development. This article reinterprets the theme of governance and provides three main characteristics of good governance, namely, effectiveness, efficiency, and equilibrium, using the concept of "decision-making". Taking a process approach, the proposed model considers good governance as consisting of procedural components (instrumental) and ultimate components (value-added) in all administrative, economic, political, and social dimensions. This paper has developed a comprehensive model of good governance, using fuzzy logic. Using the same instrument, researchers, managers, and statesmen are able to detect the current status of governance and they can also analyze the future so as to devise the most effective mode of governance accordingly.

In this case, the relationship between employees' organizational politics perceptions and resistance to change was explained; and the moderating role of manager’s political behaviors was examined. Data was gathered through triple questionnaires from a sample of employees and managers in Rafsanjan public organizations, using stratified sampling. Results suggested that there is a positive meaningful relationship between employee’s organizational politics perceptions and cognitive and emotional resistance to change. However, there is no meaningful relationship between employee’s organizational politics perceptions and behavioral resistance to change. Using Hierarchical Moderated Regression Analysis (HMRA), the results also suggested that manager’s political behaviors intensify the relationship between employee’s organizational politics perceptions and cognitive and emotional resistance to change.
