The Impact of Person-Organization Fit on Organizational Attitudes of University Faculties

Abstract

The purpose of the present research is to study the impact of person-organization fit degree on organizational attitudes of university faculties in Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman. Using open and closed questionnaires a survey has been conducted to investigate the relationship between research variables. Out of 393 time university faculties in 1385, 205 faculties were selected as the research sample. Results indicate that the impact of person-organization fit variables on organizational attitudes of university faculties is statistically significant with 95% level of confidence and the degree of fit on job satisfaction and organization and commitment plays an important role in Universities; besides it is recognized that the P-O fit is an important variable within the universities to predict the organizational attitudes.
