Organizational Career Management and Proactive Talent Management: Analyzing the Mediating Role of Organizational Knowledge Architecture (Case Study: Lorestan Province Police Command Specialty Personnel)

Abstract

Proactive talent management has helped  organizations to create a  human resources structure for  meeting the needs of   qualified and committed individuals for future organizational positions. Organizational career path management and organizational knowledge architecture can play an effective role in improving Proactive talent management. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of organizational career path management on Proactive talent management with mediating role of organizational knowledge architecture. The statistical population of the study consisted of all staff of the Lorestan Province Specialized Command staff. The sample size was estimated 285 persons that were selected by stratified random sampling. Questionnaire was used for data collection and its reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha test. The research hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling through Amos software. The results of the data analysis showed that organizational career management positively and significantly affects two variables of organizational knowledge architecture and Proactive talent management. Also, organizational knowledge architecture has a positive and significant effect on Proactive talent management. Furthermore, the impact of organizational knowledge architecture as a mediating variable impact Proactive talent management.
