Strategic control model in power plant industry

Abstract
The current research aims to develop a comprehensive and native model for strategic control in the power plant industry by reviewing previous studies in theis field and identifying research gaps. The model is designed based on the theoretical framework of Simons Levers of Control (LoC) and its basic principles, and by updating and adding new components, it has been expanded in a way that can respond to the special challenges of the power plant industry. In this regard, the aim of the research is not only to complete the Simons model, but also to address the limitations of the previous literature in order to provide a more comprehensive framework, with the ability to cover more of the various components of strategic control in this industry. So that the thirteen components include insight control, cultural control, leadership control, political control, strategy assumption control, structural control, external stakeholders control, future-oriented control, process control, third party control, resource control, project control, and control the implementation of strategies in this research were identified as strategic control components in the power plant industry.
