Identifying the events and failure strategies to fight against administrative corruption in government organizations

Abstract
Until today, few successes have been achieved in the fight against administrative corruption and Although research related to this phenomenon has a long history, studies in this field are still limited. Therefore, this research tries to investigate the events and strategies of failure to fight against administrative corruption in Iran's government organizations and contribute to our knowledge of this phenomenon. This research is conducted in terms of geographical scope, universities and implementing agencies related to applied sciences in the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. In terms of the target statistical population, it is limited to the faculty members and employees of these universities and organizations, and in terms of the time frame, it is limited to the years 2020-2021. In this research, using data-based theory, which is considered as a qualitative method, First, he conducted semi-structured interviews with university faculty members and executives of executive organizations And then in the coding stages, according to the method of Strauss and Corbin, the events of failure to fight against administrative corruption (including legal problems, behavioral-normative problems, structural-management problems and environmental problems) and strategies to fight this phenomenon (including legal-institutional reforms, prevention and Corruption control, support for whistle-blowing, having an active monitoring mechanism and clarification) are listed. It is expected that investigating the mentioned phenomenon can reduce administrative corruption in Iran's government organizations and improve their performance and productivity.
