increased in the recent decades. This trend justifies the need for focusing on team dynamics and also on the key factors affecting team effectiveness. This study tends to introduce a model including perceived organizational support (POS), organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and social capital, which improve team effectiveness. A conceptual model was constructed and the relationships between the variables were tested. Structural equation modeling (SEM), “SPSS” and “LISREL” software have been used to analyze the data collected through questionnaire. Results confirm the appropriateness of the suggested structural and measurement models and except the relationship between POS and social capital, all the assumed relationships in the structural model are statistically significant. The proposed model can be used as a guideline for executives who plan to improve team effectiveness in their organizations.
