According to the organizational literature, an organization's competitive ability depends on soft and hard factors.. One of the most important soft factors is organizational commitment. Commitment involves employees' concern for working in the organization and vice versa. It consists of elements such as leadership styles, organizational culture, employees' quality of life, job satisfaction, etc. In this study organizational commitment is examined in one of the divisions of Iran's oil company. Datais collected through questionnaire and is analyzed by factor analysis, structured equation modeling and Bayesian Information Criterion. Results show that organizational, job-related, personal, and meta-organizational factors affect employees' organizational commitment.
